Written by Reverend Laura The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. With only a shepherd's staff, a sling, and a single stone, David trusted the power of Almighty God more than the strength of a mighty giant that everybody was afraid of and brought him down. The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Does a Goliath stand before you today? Do not face it alone. Go first to the good Lord. Pray until your heart is filled with his presence. Pray until fear gives away the faith. Pray until his love becomes your love. Pray until his wisdom becomes your wisdom. Pray until his strength becomes your strength. Then, just like David standing before Goliath, you will discover that the battle is not won by human might. The victory belongs to Almighty God. So shall it be with you. For his strength is your power, his power is within you. Your prayers will unlock the door to his power already within. It is first one in your secret place of prayer. The good Lord says, I have set thee as a watchman, therefore. Hear the word at my mouth. The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Our beloved Jesus, the Christ said, Learn of me, let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. Beloved Jesus, the Christ showed us the way. He did not depend upon his human strength, but turned within to the Father. He prayed, he listened, he obeyed the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. He that believeth on me, greater works than thee shall he do. Then he invited you to follow, follow me. The kingdom of God is within you. Let his light within you may overcome the darkness. Now is the time to realize that his power within you is the strength you need to overcome that which has come to destroy you and all that is good. For you wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Humble yourself and pray. Cast aside your doubts, deepen your faith in God's power to move the mountains, He will hear your prayers and answer you. For the greatest of these is love, and love overcomes hatred. It is time to come here apart. And sub with me, let go of the outer things that take your thoughts away from your source of life. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. You are a living stone in the foundation of freedom. You have been given a sacred work that only you can do. No one else can pray your prayers. No one else can walk the path that has been prepared for you. Whether you are in a hospital room or prison cell at work or sitting in a car, prayer can reach its destination. The good Lord will hear your cry. Prayer will change the things that need to be changed. Prayer will give you the strength to stand. His strength shall become your strength, His wisdom shall become your wisdom, His love shall become your love, and His light within you shall overcome the darkness. You shall become the head and not the tail. You shall become ruler over much. Your days shall be filled with the goodness of God you shall overcome. And surely goodness and mercy shall follow thee all the days of thy life, and thou shalt dwell in the house of the Lord forever. The Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works with a peace.
